Ankit Baiyanpuria hails from Sonipat, Haryana and is a wrestler-turned-fitness icon. He is a prominent internet personality. He owns a Youtube channel named “Ankit Baiyanpuria” with over 3.49 Million subscribers. His content is based on wrestling including traditional workout styles like Hindu wrestling burpees, running, and rope climbing. In addition , he is a motivational speaker as well. He’s a social media influencer with more than 7.5M followers on Instagram.
His Early Life
Ankit was born in Haryana, India. He started wrestling at a young age. He competed in several tournaments with grit and determination gained fame and experience through various level tournaments . He started his YouTube channel in 2018 and quickly gained popularity. Gradually he gained his subscribers and presently he has 3.5M subscribers. His videos have been viewed over 10 million times.
Earlier, he started out doing odd jobs, including being a Zomato delivery boy. But his vision to achieve the feat ,helped him to overcome all the obstacles and pave a way for his goal. STRUGGLE IS REAL
Ankit was a wrestler before he became a social media influencer. In 2018, while participating in a wrestling tournament in Himachal Pradesh , he suffered a slipped disc injury. After recovering from that injury, he began to compete at university level when again he was ruled out of the match because of knee injury. He was on bed-rest for a couple of months. Furthermore, Baiyanpuria was advised for 3 months rest after a shoulder injury. In this process, his weight shoot up from 86kgs to 95kgs.
He wanted to pursue his career in MMA(Mixed Martial Arts) but he couldn’t do so because of his injuries. Although, he got offer for training in United States. Later on he signed as the official athlete of Gurugram’s Bull Nutrition Cafe. He gained his social media attention through this Cafe. Currently , he endorses different brands including products of MuscleBlaze.
He became an in internet sensation in summer of 2023 for his “75 Hard Challenge”. The challenge was created by American personality Andy Frisella in 2020. He accepted it and started on June 27, 2023 and he gained a millions of fans during this process. In this challenge he was required to complete five daily tasks. The tasks involved taking a daily selfie to track improvement, sticking to a strict diet plan that prohibits alcohol and cheat meals, drinking a gallon of water(four liters) on daily basis and completing two 45-minute training sessions, one of which is to be held outdoors regardless of the weather conditions. He completed the challenge successfully.
